Everything works fine with a designer, but if you want to create the RDL manually, its not option now in the MS package. I want to invite you to check the first RDL reader/writer of the market:

Thanks jerry, I have checked your component, it only implements the serializing feature that is quite easy to do, but the reporting logic behind the RDL is really a tough thing.
